Sunday, January 1, 2012 So this is the new year...
Whoa. Has it really been over two weeks since we last posted? Did life really get in the way that long? As I sat down to write this post, I decided to catch up on my usual blog reads, and read a freakishly similar post from Emily as to what was in my mind. We have a design business which is keeping us over the moon busy, and I have clients, and the holidays but I felt kind of shameful because after reading her post and personally knowing her schedule, I felt my "excuses" for not blogging have been dwarfed. We didn't go away for the holidays, but we were busy - and not so much with home improvement stuff, hence not so many updates. It's amazing how a self obligation can get under your skin!
With that being said, Hello! Happy New Year! Have you made any fun resolutions? I have a few in mind:
1 - Be a better blogger: I know that's one big broad stroke, but I am committing this year to stick to a 5 post a week life. I love blogging, and I can' believe how much we have grown in two years.
2 - Do what I want: I have a really hard time just doing what I want to do. This year I am going to focus on weekly rituals dedicated to giving myself something I want.
3 - Make a baby: Yep! It's baby making time. The talks have been happening. We want a boy or two, so wish us luck on our journey to grow our family this year. We already have names. We hope to welcome Atlas Birch Katsaros to the world this year, and Science Terrific Katsaros next year. Yep, those are kids names. We already love them and talk about them. And it's a girl, London __________ Katsaros. Working on that middle name.
4. - Take a break: It's been years since we took a for-the-heck-of-it vacation. We are overdue.
5. Learn French: We already started!
6. FINISH: The kitchen, dining room, master bedroom, house in general. Why the rush? We'll get into that at a later date.
